hamburg - january 2018

hello. welcome. let’s do this.

My indecisiveness led to procrastination which then led to nothing. Uh oh. Not good. Instead, let’s get right to the point.

Not another blog…

Not exactly. Think of it as visual travel blog and personal diary. We shall see where this journey takes me. Each post will fulfil one if not all of the following:

  1. Create content on a regular basis

  2. Opportunity for deliberate practice

  3. Share my journey to inspire and challenge others

On the second day of the new year, I headed to northern Germany to visit friends. The following week resulted to laughter, lots of photos, just enough pierogies, and a trip to Vaders Dye tattoo parlour.

It was my second time in Hamburg yet I fell in love with it a little more. The people are straightforward and confident. The pickled cabbage and Milka chocolate never disappoint. And I’d pick Hamburg over Berlin any day.

When in Hamburg…

  1. Eat pierogies at Kuchnia

  2. Walk around Park Fiction in St. Pauli neighbourhood

  3. Get inspired at Deichtorhallen Hamburg - the best in contemporary art and photography

Below is a little taste of the colours, textures and character that make up this varied and eclectic city.

Music pick: Face to Face by Mat Kearney

Had this tune on repeat for most of the trip.
